For Buyers

Cypher does not currently authenticate listings. Sellers are required to provide accurate descriptions and condition details. If a card is found to be fake, misrepresented, or damaged, buyers can open a dispute for review under the Cypher Buyer Guarantee.

Sellers must ship every order within 48 hours and upload tracking. Delivery times depend on the carrier but usually take 3–7 business days for domestic orders. International orders may take longer.

Buyers can dispute orders that are not delivered, damaged, or misrepresented within:
  • 7 days of delivery, or
  • 7 days of the expected delivery date for untracked shipments (usually 15 days from the ship date).
If Cypher determines that the claim is valid, a refund will be issued to the buyer.

Orders can only be cancelled before the seller ships the item. Once tracking has been added, the transaction is considered final and must follow the refund and dispute process. .

You earn XP on every successful purchase — 10 XP for every $1 spent.XP adds up to unlock new tiers, badges, and exclusive rewards. The higher your tier, the more bonuses you receive, including free digital grading credits and XP boosters.

You can earn XP by:
  • Attending official Cypher Events such as trade nights and tournaments.
  • Referring friends — when someone joins using your referral link and makes their first purchase, both of you receive XP bonuses.
  • Completing limited-time XP Missions announced on your dashboard.

All transactions are processed securely via Stripe. You can pay with major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay depending on your region.

If an order is untracked, you can file a dispute within 7 days of the expected delivery date (approximately 15 days after the ship date). Cypher will review the case and issue a refund if the order is not delivered.

For Sellers

Anyone with authentic trading cards or sealed collectibles can list items. To get started, create a Cypher account, connect your Stripe account, and start listing.

Currently, Cypher’s total selling fee is 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction (Stripe’s standard processing rate). As Cypher grows, these fees will gradually reduce to benefit sellers.

Funds are released to your connected Stripe account 7–15 days after delivery is confirmed, either through tracking or buyer confirmation. Untracked shipments are released automatically 15 days after the ship date, provided no dispute has been opened.

Yes. You can:
  • Generate discounted labels directly through Cypher (Shippo), or
  • Use your own carrier — just upload a valid tracking number within 48 hours of order confirmation.

If an item is damaged, misrepresented, or undelivered, Cypher may refund the buyer after reviewing evidence from both sides. If the seller is at fault, the amount is deducted from the seller’s balance. Frequent issues may result in account review or suspension.

Fast shipping, honest listings, and good customer feedback are key. Your seller stats (on-time shipping, successful deliveries, positive reviews) all influence your visibility in search results and your eligibility for Cypher perks.

Not at this time. Inventory management must be done directly within your Cypher Seller Dashboard. Bulk upload tools are planned for future updates.

If a dispute or refund is active, payouts for that order may be temporarily held until the case is resolved. Once cleared, funds are automatically released.

Sellers earn XP for verified sales, shipping on time, and maintaining a high customer satisfaction rating. Hosting or attending Cypher Events and referring new sellers can also earn XP bonuses.
